Foundations of Ecological Dating and Partner Search – Consonance (Gleichklang)
Ecological Dating in Foundation, Theory, and Practice
Author: Dr. Guido F. Gebauer, Psychologist and Co-Founder of Consonance (Gleichklang)
This foundational text describes from a psychological and societal perspective what constitutes ecological dating. Ecological dating forms connect dating, partner search, friendship, and community with sustainable life practices, environmental awareness, climate protection, and animal welfare. Internationally, this approach is often discussed under the term Green Dating.
At Consonance (Gleichklang), our psychologically based dating platform, ecological compatibility forms a central foundation for matching partnerships, friendships, travel partnerships, and communities.
Ecological Dating at Consonance (Gleichklang)
Ecological Dating at Consonance (Gleichklang) means the search for one person (partner search monogamous, friendship search) or for multiple people (e.g., partner search polyamorous, friendships, communities) whose everyday life, decisions, and values are connected to environmental awareness, climate protection, and nature conservation.
For 20 years, we have been bringing together such people for partnerships, friendships, travel companions, or for projects and communities – for whom an ecological lifestyle is a central part of their being and their life practice.

Core and Diversity in the Green Dating Community
Alongside a core of ecologically sustainable, minimalist, and vegan living members, ecological or Green Dating at Consonance (Gleichklang) also includes people who want to live ecologically and sustainably but are currently still more or less entangled in a societal practice oriented toward environmental destruction, the climate crisis, consumption, and superficiality.
However, because their attitude, despite their not yet consistent behavior, is compatible, they also form an important part of our ecological Green Dating community. When they find partnerships, friendships, travel companions, or communities at Consonance (Gleichklang), they succeed in transitioning to an ecological lifestyle.
Ecological Life Practice in Everyday Life
Those who live with a focus on sufficiency will feel the topic not only when shopping but also when living, heating, and dealing with things. Those who live minimally, practice recycling, and have internalized a repair culture think differently about ownership, status, about “new” and “used.” For many sustainably minded people, terms and practices such as circular economy, secondhand, upcycling, and reuse are central. In the diversity and global orientation of these ecological practices, the meaning and necessity of Green Dating become apparent. When we meet ecologically minded people, we can shape our everyday lives together so that we live consistently with our values.
Consumption, Nutrition, and Shared Routines
A large part of ecological living becomes visible through consumption. Consonance (Gleichklang) members typically move within the field of organic food and organic trade in general, natural foods, regionality, and seasonality. Others organize their lives through package-free, zero waste, waste avoidance, low-plastic everyday life, and the question of how consistent one can be without becoming socially isolated. Many members focus on Fair Trade and fairness chains, associated supply chain critique, and the question of which products are still justifiable.
Particularly formative for Consonance (Gleichklang) members and also for partner search, getting to know friends, and communities is nutrition:
- Plant-based nutrition, vegetarian, but significantly more consistently vegan, is often the everyday manifestation of appreciation for animal life as well as environmental ethics, animal welfare, animal rights, or climate justice. Nutrition is important for relationships. Because it involves daily habits, shopping, cooking together, invitations, family celebrations, and the desire to further strengthen one’s own plant-based lifestyle.
Mobility as a Relationship Topic
Ecological conflicts arise not through individual opinions but through mobility. Questions arise such as: living flight-free or flight-reduced, public transportation, bicycle, cargo bike. Consistent ecological thinking and action mean a different form of mobility. They therefore think differently about the way we bridge distances, but also about how we shape our everyday lives and our vacations. Those who travel far often choose land routes, embarking on slow travel beyond oblivion and the acting out of consumption. Some also deliberately remain regional, settling into their self-sufficiency garden or permaculture.
Such differences are often concealed during the getting-to-know-you phase but later emerge as fundamental questions:
- What does a shared everyday life look like, how are decisions made, which compromises are possible, and which are not?
Ecological Dating at Consonance (Gleichklang) (and elsewhere) means placing these central questions at the beginning of getting to know each other and bringing together people who give similar answers.
Why Mainstream Dating Often Doesn’t Fit
Many singles seeking a partner, but also people seeking friendships, are exhausted and resigned because on mainstream dating apps and singles sites they find no people with whom they can reach agreement on, for example, these questions:
- How is life lived, how is consumption practiced, how is travel done, what is considered responsible, what is considered indispensable, what is considered luxury that one reduces or completely foregoes?
Indeed, anyone who lives sustainably, acts climate-consciously, feels connected to nature, or makes decisions based on environmental ethics hardly encounters compatible people on dating apps or other mainstream dating systems.
Why does partner search also fail for many ecologically and sustainably minded people at third places?
There are two reasons for this, for which we at Consonance (Gleichklang) offer solutions through our non-mainstream online approach to matchmaking and friendship search.
- Online dating is gaining increasing importance for partner search. This also means that fewer and fewer people are open to partner search at third places, such as cafés, but even in environmental initiatives. This makes it harder to find partners at third places.
- Singles embedded in existing initiatives, projects, and protests against environmental destruction and climate change will often find that the others are already in relationships, currently want to remain single, or for other reasons it doesn’t fit.
Fundamentally, online dating is a solution for those who have remained unsuccessful at third places.
For environmentally conscious people, however, it is central that the ecological fundamental orientation and the life practices and life goals behind it are compatible with each other.
Many environmentally conscious people experience that this does not succeed in mainstream dating.
Some enter into compromises and become dissatisfied in relationships. This applies, for example, to many vegans, where a survey by vegan.eu and Consonance (Gleichklang) showed that the vast majority of vegans in relationships with non-vegans continue to experience a longing for a relationship with a vegan person.
A recent study by vegan.eu and Consonance (Gleichklang) on vegansexuality once again makes clear the central importance of considering ethical values and environmentally related practices for partner search:
- It was shown that the vegan lifestyle is so profoundly connected to one’s own identity that a substantial number of people also associate sexual attraction and sexual experience needs with the vegan lifestyle of the other person. Vegansexuals who are in relationships with non-vegan people and especially with meat-eating people were significantly less satisfied with their relationships and their sexuality. Among non-vegansexuals, this effect of partner nutrition on one’s own satisfaction was not detectable.
Values, Convictions, and Social Dilemmas
What is decisive is an ecological compatibility of values and convictions, and this significance is shown by the fact that we feel that even our sexual attraction is connected to our convictions.
Environmentally conscious singles and environmentally conscious people are often confronted with this dilemma when it comes to their social networking:
- Do we consistently implement a lifestyle according to our values or do we adapt? In many cases, people tend to ultimately adapt to conditions when they continually violate them and external pressure is high.
So if I think ecologically but do not live sustainably and environmentally consciously, do not pay attention to climate protection in my own life, inner dissonance arises, and I reduce this by unconsciously adjusting my attitudes to my behavior:
- We see this in people who suddenly receive large amounts of money and wealth and often begin to adopt a lifestyle that is not environmentally compatible. In their subjective experience, however, they feel entitled to it, and their level of expectation adjusts to their current situation.
- Another example of this possible development is the well-known march of the 68ers through the institutions. Many wanted to fundamentally change our social conditions and make our planet a green planet where people live in solidarity with each other. But because they constantly had to violate their principles in the institutions, their attitudes began to erode, and today they are indistinguishable from the former employees of the institutions. They are firmly anchored in the machinery that destroys our planet, ruins our climate, destroys forests and natural landscapes, and fuels species extinction.
This sad story does not show that these are bad people, but that they are human beings:
- If we are not careful, we do not prevail as a minority but dissolve into the majority. In a unique way, the studies of the sociologist Moscovici have shown that minorities only exert real influence when they clearly distinguish themselves from the majority and consistently represent their position. If they make compromises with the majority, they gradually merge into it and become unrecognizable.
Many who participate in mainstream dating experience exactly the same:
- The values of gamified dating systems focused on quick contacts, many suggestions, short greeting messages, swipes, superlikes also transfer to the participants. Without them noticing, their willingness to commit decreases, people are perceived as consumer products, profiles and matches dominate the striving. A streamlined mainstream form emerges of how people think about and shape their relationships. These values are not compatible with ecology, climate protection, and reflection on our overconsumption.
When ecologically thinking and acting participants succeed in mainstream dating, their values will typically erode in the new relationships as well:
- Because the probability of finding partners through the algorithms of dating apps who think equally about environmental protection, nature conservation, animal welfare, etc., is very low. The other person will only change their life practice if their convictions are compatible.
Of course, there can also be positive changes in relationships in the opposite direction, as we see at Consonance (Gleichklang):
- But in mainstream dating, the opposite is usually the case because the non-ecological and non-sustainable lifestyle is initially easier and is associated with short-term rewards through consumption at all levels. When we then have partners who do not pay attention to the environment, the planet, animals, and climate, the consumption-oriented lifestyle that burdens our planet’s resources creeps into our everyday lives. Thus, we become what we once fought against.
Relationship and Dating as a Driver of Ecological Change
Nevertheless, changes are possible, and we see at Consonance (Gleichklang) that we not only bring together suitable people for loving relationships, friendships, projects, and communities, but also that people change at Consonance by paying more attention to environmental protection, climate protection and climate neutrality, animal welfare and animal rights.
Consonance (Gleichklang) as a Green Dating platform is thus simultaneously one of the many smaller engines for ecological change and ecological value transformation in our world.
The crucial structures of our dating community contribute to this process of change.
At Consonance (Gleichklang), singles and others seeking relationships encounter from the very first day an environmentally friendly community that takes climate protection, protection of our planet’s natural resources, animal welfare seriously and places them at the center of its public image.
This reduces the likelihood of being influenced by a mainstream that is indifferent to the environment, the planet, and climate.
Our information and articles also contribute to members of our dating community repeatedly engaging with ecological values and reflecting on a sustainable lifestyle.
In addition, we present our psychological matching logic questions, which not only increase ecological compatibility in partner search, getting to know friends and travel companions, or establishing communities and projects, but also encourage change:
- Do I want to give up meat in a new relationship? Do I want to live vegan in a new relationship? Do I want to make an ecological lifestyle change the foundation of a new relationship?
Through the composition of our community, the structure and presence of the community, and through the orientation of our matching, we support environmentally responsible behavioral change:
- The probability is so low that users of Consonance (Gleichklang) will end up in a relationship after their relationship search where environmentally and climate-friendly action is unknown.
Quite the opposite: Often, it is precisely those members of Consonance (Gleichklang) who were not yet firmly established in their environmental attitudes or who did not previously live their ecological and sustainable values who begin to act in environmentally and climate-friendly ways.
Differences Within the Green Dating Community
Ecologically oriented people share the commonality that they understand themselves as environmentally conscious, climate-conscious, and sustainable people. However, there are also relevant differences:
Different Ecological Practice and Values
Some of them, but not all, also have an emotionally deeper connection to nature that manifests through activities associated with outdoor, gardening, animals, forest, water, biodiversity. Our members are united by consuming few resources, thinking critically about consumption, and setting conscious priorities. Concrete practices can differ, however, and this can even lead to differences that may result in incompatibility due to the great individual significance of the respective topics.
In other words:
- Members of our Green Dating community are not automatically compatible with each other for partnerships, friendships, travel partnerships, or communities.
There are many other factors, some of which we consider at Consonance (Gleichklang), while others remain uncontrollable and can only be explored between the people themselves.
Different Relationship and Friendship Forms within the Ecological Community
At Consonance (Gleichklang), we focus on matching not only based on compatibility of values but also of relationship models:
- Some people seek monogamous relationships, which is also the majority with us. Others seek polyamorous relationships, polyamorous group relationships, swinger relationships, open relationships. Some also seek platonic relationships. Likewise, the desired location of shared relationship practice differs. Many want to move in together, others prefer Living-Apart-Together models, while still others recognize long-distance relationships as the best relationship path for themselves.
There are also differentiations in friendships:
- For many, friendship has no erotic component; for others, eroticism is part of friendship. Some want to find a friendship plus that stands between friendship and partnership. The LGBTQ+ area also plays a major role in friendship search. Some, for example as gay men or lesbian women, want to get to know a friendship with gay men or lesbian friends. The exact opposite also occurs: members of the LGBTQ+ community who want to network beyond their own circle with heterosexual people as well.
Different Spiritual Attitudes within the Green Dating Community
Singles seeking a partner and others seeking friendships at Consonance (Gleichklang) differ not only in their relationship models but also in their relationship to spirituality, which is an important topic for the Green Dating area.
Fundamentally, there are three roughly equally sized groups:
- Spiritual singles and other members of Consonance (Gleichklang) who value spirituality: Often a free spirituality not tied to a specific religion is practiced. We often see among our members influences of Buddhism, but also of Hinduism, the Bahá’í, or of course Christianity. Many of these members connect spirituality with ecology and sustainability and see both fundamental orientations as an important part of their social networking. Meditation or yoga also often play a major role for these members.
- People who do not have a strong stance on spirituality: These people may be spiritually interested in individual aspects, and they see no problem if their partners or friends are spiritual.
- Decidedly atheist, religion-critical people: These members of our dating community are critical of most or all forms of spirituality. They often cannot imagine a partnership, at least with highly spiritual people.
In matchmaking and friendship matching, we ensure that there are no competent contradictions in attitudes toward spirituality. In projects and communities, our members themselves select the suitable project from the corresponding community contact lists.
It is therefore not enough to simply gather environmentally conscious people in a dating community. It is also crucial to include other central elements of life convictions and life practices in order to find people who truly match each other.
Differences may remain; they can even be enriching. What is decisive is that the basis exists on which relationship-related compatibility can be built together in loving relationships, friendships, and communities.
Community, Projects, and the Consonance (Gleichklang) Community
Consonance (Gleichklang) is not only a matchmaking service or dating site; with us, projects and communities are also at the forefront of our work:
- At Consonance (Gleichklang), there are community contact lists. There, projects and communities are presented, and ideas for founding are formulated. Anyone interested can get in direct contact and thus jointly advance the building of a community or join an existing project or community.
The following requirements apply for listing a project or community at Consonance (Gleichklang):
- Communities and projects at Consonance (Gleichklang) must be ecologically and sustainably oriented, they must not be associated with the exploitation or killing of animals, but otherwise show a broad spectrum: they include, for example, spiritual and political projects, intergenerational living, local initiatives, but also self-initiated “Consonance regulars’ tables.”
The spectrum of ideas and initiatives listed in our contact lists is indeed very diverse:
- Initiatives for solidarity agriculture, urban gardening projects, repair meetups, animal welfare work, social circles are posted. This is about connections that go beyond classic dating and include collaborations, residential and life communities, political engagement, and working groups.
Community as a Second Path to Relationship and Friendship
Community building at Consonance (Gleichklang) is simultaneously a second path on which friendships and loving relationships can also develop in the long term through shared topics and projects.
Ecological Dating at Consonance (Gleichklang) is about the ability to bring one’s own everyday life into harmony with one’s own value system, and about the search for people who also want to live this alignment of everyday life and ecological values. Consonance (Gleichklang) is thus the place for dating, partner search, and getting to know friends among climate-conscious, environmentally conscious, and sustainably living people.
It is precisely to these people that Consonance (Gleichklang) also addresses itself in its public image and marketing:
- Singles and others who seek relationships, friendships, projects, and communities out of ecological conviction. For members of Consonance (Gleichklang), love and friendship are closely linked to environmental awareness, ecology, sustainability, and their own everyday life.
By placing ecological and sustainable orientation at the forefront of our public image, we make it possible for environmentally conscious singles and others to actually find each other at Consonance (Gleichklang) for loving relationships, friendships, projects, and communities. The public image of Consonance (Gleichklang) as a Green Dating community is therefore also a central content aspect.
Fundamental Dimensions of Ecological-Sustainable Thinking and Action
Ecological-sustainable thinking and action can be divided into several fundamental dimensions. Even ecologically minded people differ in which dimensions they are more or less strongly pronounced in. An overall very high degree of consistent ecological and sustainable orientation exists where all dimensions are represented. This is the core group of our members, around which the majority groups itself, which is also ecologically and sustainably oriented but shows fluctuations in everyday life and attitudes.
Value and responsibility orientation: Fundamental conviction that one’s own actions have consequences for climate, environment, biodiversity, and future generations, and that responsibility and self-commitment follow from this.
- Consumption and procurement style: Conscious buying and using, less, durable, repairing, reusing, secondhand, avoiding impulse purchases, prioritizing quality over quantity.
- Nutrition and food system orientation: Orienting nutrition toward environmental and possibly animal ethics: plant-based diet, vegan, at least strong reduction of animal products, organic/regional/seasonal, natural food shopping behavior, minimizing food waste.
- Resource and energy practice: Consistent reduction of energy and resource consumption in everyday life: heating/cooling, electricity, water, household appliances, living space, efficiency and sufficiency as guiding principles.
- Mobility and travel orientation: Preference for lower-emission mobility: public transportation, bicycle, walking, car sharing; conscious handling of air travel and long-distance travel; travel decisions as an expression of climate responsibility.
- Material and waste practice: Systematic waste avoidance and circular thinking: package-free/low waste, refilling, recycling only as a secondary means, separation, upcycling, repair culture.
- Nature and biodiversity orientation: Active importance of nature and biodiversity, nature-oriented lifestyle, interest in biodiversity, conservation-related decisions (garden/balcony, light, land use), protection of sensitive ecosystems.
- Social and justice orientation: Linking ecology with fairness, climate justice, global responsibility, social consequences of consumption and supply chains, Fair Trade references, common good perspective.
- Political engagement: Willingness to act beyond the private sphere, participation in initiatives, NGOs, local projects, energy cooperatives, SoLaWi, citizens’ initiatives, resistance against the climate crisis and environmental destruction, tree occupations, protest actions, Last Generation, Extinction Rebellion, Fridays for Future, Ende Gelände, Robin Wood, Earth First!, Climate Justice Action, System Change not Climate Change as well as other forms of organized climate resistance. This engagement can extend to consistent civil disobedience, blockades, occupations, and direct actions against fossil infrastructure, industrial mega-projects, and environmentally destructive structures. Peacefulness, responsibility, respect for life, and the physical and mental integrity of humans and animals always come first. Such political action is an expression of an ethically based ecological practice – even when state structures and actors from industry and the fossil energy sector worldwide make considerable efforts to delegitimize, criminalize, or discredit this protest. Many members of Consonance (Gleichklang) are deeply anchored in left-wing, emancipatory, and progressive references. Others see themselves as part of the green movement, whereby they often experience the specific political representatives and parties as the lesser evil. A survey among Consonance (Gleichklang) members showed that as a dating community we move on almost another planet compared to mainstream dating apps, singles sites, or other matchmaking services.
- Everyday consistency and self-regulation: Ability to implement ecological goals stably over the long term, routines, priority setting, dealing with conflicts and social friction within the community of ecologically oriented people, self-regulation to be able to act ecologically.
These ten fundamental dimensions of ecological-sustainable thinking and action give rise to important implications for loving relationships, friendships, and social contacts in general.
It is precisely at these implications that we as a dating platform aim to bring together people for whom the chances are high that they can build a happy everyday relationship together, whether in loving relationships, friendships, as travel companions, or in projects and communities.
Ecological Fundamental Dimensions and Their Significance for Relationships
All these ten fundamental dimensions are action-relevant and thus also intervene in interpersonal relationships, friendships, and partnerships.
That is precisely why it is central to consider them in dating and partner search. When people come together who can build a good ecological compatibility in these ten fundamental dimensions of ecological and sustainable orientation, they will succeed in enabling shared meaning, life meaning, and thus also mutual life happiness.
That is why we base our Green Dating at Consonance (Gleichklang) on compatibility in these fundamental dimensions. At the same time, through our public image and our blog articles, we support people in finding ecological fundamental attitudes and implementing them in their everyday lives and relationships.
Such ecologically motivated relationships simultaneously contribute to making our world a little bit better.
These are (in brief) the decisive implications of the ten fundamental dimensions for our relationships and thus also for dating and partner search:
- Value and responsibility dimension: Shared fundamental convictions about climate, environment, and biodiversity reduce fundamental value conflicts and enable a stable shared future orientation.
- Consumption and procurement dimension: Similar standards in buying, owning, repairing, and reusing prevent everyday frictions that would otherwise express themselves in recurring conflicts about money, status, and lifestyle.
- Nutrition and food dimension: Compatibility in nutrition and food choice facilitates shared everyday life, shared meals, and shared social situations and reduces lasting tensions due to different eating and shopping practices.
- Resource and energy dimension: Alignment in dealing with energy, housing, and resources creates everyday compatibility, especially in shared household management, housing decisions, and long-term life plans.
- Mobility and travel dimension: Similar mobility and travel decisions are central for shared leisure activities, vacation planning, housing questions, and distance management and prevent fundamental conflicts about flying, cars, or life radius.
- Waste and circular dimension: Shared routines for waste avoidance, reusable, package-free, repair, and upcycling facilitate cohabitation and strengthen the feeling of shared practice instead of constant negotiation.
- Nature and biodiversity dimension: A similar nature and biodiversity orientation influences leisure, living environment, dealing with garden/balcony, pets, and nature-oriented activities and creates shared emotional anchors.
- Justice and supply chain dimension: Aligning views on fairness, global responsibility, and supply chains lead to shared moral coherence and reduce conflicts about “right” and “justifiable.”
- Political engagement: Similar willingness for engagement, projects, and societal participation, resistance creates compatibility in time budget, social environment, and life design and prevents friction between activism and withdrawal.
- Consistency and self-regulation dimension: Comparable stability in routines, priority setting, and dealing with conflicts enables sustainable reliability, reduces disappointments, and supports long-term sustainable shared relationship management.
The Four Areas of Dating at Consonance (Gleichklang)
Dating at Consonance (Gleichklang) encompasses, as already outlined in this article, the four areas of partner search and matchmaking, finding friends and friendship matching, travel companions as well as projects and communities.
This is based on the fact that – like ecological systems, our climate, and our planet as a whole – we humans are also interconnected systems that are more than the sum of their parts and whose parts are simultaneously significantly influenced by the whole.
For partner search and matchmaking, finding friends and friendship matching, travel as well as projects and communities, the ten dimensions of ecological-sustainable thinking and action have the following effects on our relationships:
- Partner search and matchmaking: In partner search and matchmaking, ecological compatibility decides whether we can build a shared sustainable everyday life together. When we think in the same direction in the value and responsibility dimension, we can plan better together and align our future according to shared standards. When we are on the same page regarding consumption, our lifestyle can be shaped so that it feels coherent and carries through everyday life without friction. When we fit well together regarding nutrition and food systems, shared eating, shared shopping, and living in social situations become a naturally shared practice. When we set comparable priorities in dealing with resources and energy, we can shape housing, household management, and long-term life decisions consistently and reliably. When we have a shared understanding of mobility and travel, we more easily find a shared life radius and a travel and leisure design that fits our ecological standards. When we are at home in the same routines in waste and circular practice, an everyday life emerges that simplifies and stabilizes our ecological orientation. When we share nature and biodiversity orientation, we find shared emotional anchors, forms of leisure, and ideas about where and how we want to live. When we evaluate justice and supply chain questions essentially the same way, we can make decisions coherently and experience our actions as fair and responsible. When we weight engagement and societal participation in a similar way, time budget, social environment, and life design fit together well. When we are finally aligned with each other in consistency and self-regulation, ecological practice becomes a stable shared path that creates reliability and sustains relationship in the long term.
- Finding friends and friendship matching: In friendship search and friendship matching, ecological compatibility decides whether we can shape our freely chosen shared time in a way that connects and strengthens. When we have the same basic direction in the value and responsibility dimension, conversations about climate, environment, and future can become a connecting part of our friendship. When we find common ground in consumption understanding, shared forms of leisure emerge that do not run through buying and consumption but through experiencing, exchanging, and shared activities. When we fit together regarding nutrition and food systems, shared cooking, dining out, or inviting becomes uncomplicated because our standards come together without effort. When we prefer the same style in mobility and travel, excursions, weekend trips, and shared activities become easier to plan because the way we move becomes part of our shared practice. When we live nature and biodiversity orientation together, friendships often develop particularly quickly because shared time outdoors, in nature, garden, or landscape is not just activity but shared space of meaning. When we are on the same track in waste and circular practice, habits during meetings, on the go, and in shared activities naturally come together. When we locate justice and supply chain questions similarly, we can choose places, products, and activities so that they feel coherent and responsible for both. When we live engagement and societal participation in a comparable way, friendships can also grow into projects, initiatives, and shared action. When we are finally well attuned to each other in consistency and self-regulation, friendship becomes a stable connection that can give joy, support, and mental stability because it is based on shared practice and not just sympathy.
- Finding travel companions: When finding travel companions, ecological agreement decides whether we can live a shared life practice on the road that makes the journey possible and connects with positive togetherness. When we are on the road with the same understanding of mobility and travel, we can choose destinations, routes, and pace so that they fit our standards, and travel becomes a shared expression of our values. When we have the same framework in dealing with resources and energy, the handling of accommodation, comfort, energy, and water becomes a routine from which no conflicts arise. When we fit together in waste and circular practice, we can easily implement reusable, waste avoidance, and conscious supply on the go without tensions arising. We learn from each other. When we have the same attitude toward consumption, travel becomes less of a consumer event and more about experiencing places, people, and nature; supported by simplicity, this becomes possible. When we find each other well in nutrition and food systems, supply can be organized in a way that facilitates the journey and we experience shared meals as an important relationship element. When we share nature and biodiversity orientation, travel becomes a form of appreciation and connection to landscapes, ecosystems, and nature-oriented experiences, where we take care not to burden the natural landscapes. No one on this journey will want to fish or hunt, no one will leave their plastic waste in nature. When we evaluate justice and supply chain questions essentially the same way, we can make travel decisions socially and ecologically responsible and behave respectfully toward the regions we travel to. When we finally harmonize with each other in consistency and self-regulation, ecological practice remains stable even under changing conditions, and genuine connection can emerge from shared travel.
- Projects and communities: In projects and communities, ecological compatibility connects us not only in couple relationships but in a shared goal. When we recognize ourselves in the ten fundamental dimensions of ecological-sustainable thinking and action, we can carry a meaningful project that can be implemented as a shared life practice. When we understand values and responsibility in the same fundamental attitude, we align our actions with climate, environment, and biodiversity and give our project a clear direction. When we bring together nature and biodiversity orientation, a nature-oriented practice emerges that expresses itself in concrete conservation and design ideas and connects us emotionally and practically. When we align consumption and procurement style, waste and circular practice, as well as resource and energy practice with each other, we can implement projects sustainably because a viable infrastructure develops from shared standards. When we act in a shared line in mobility and travel, we can plan logistics, accessibility, and networking sustainably. When we fit together well in nutrition and food systems, supply can become a stable core of communal practice. When we evaluate justice and supply chain questions essentially the same way, we can live our ecological orientation globally responsibly at the same time. When we jointly carry engagement and structure building, we can organize tasks, responsibilities, and decisions so that ecological commitment emerges. When we are finally aligned with each other in consistency and self-regulation, a project can remain stable beyond the initial energy. From this shared environmental connection, friendships, partnerships, and life communities can also develop precisely because lived ecological practice also establishes connectedness between the people involved.
