Consonance (Gleichklang) is an alternative friendship and partner search community for environmentally engaged, nature-oriented, animal-friendly, and socially minded people. Its psychologically grounded matchmaking system embraces diverse sexual orientations, lifestyles, beliefs, and life situations, supporting members in finding partnerships, friendships, and travel companions that truly fit their values and needs.
CONSONANCE (GLEICHKLANG) is a completely different friendship and partner search site. The offering from CONSONANCE (GLEICHKLANG) follows the rainbow principle, according to which we effectively support people with their many different characteristics and needs in their partner search. For all the diversity, what all members have in common is identifying with the orientation of our community as a platform for getting to know environmentally engaged, nature-oriented, animal-friendly, and socially minded people.
As a matchmaking agency, we support people with all legitimate sexual orientations in their partner search. This includes heterosexuals and homosexuals (gay men and lesbians, see Gay and Lesbian), as well as bisexual men and women (see Bisexuality), transsexual people (see Transsexuality), transvestites (see Transvestitism), asexual people and those with purely platonic relationship wishes (see Asexuality and Platonics), pansexual people (see Pansexuality), and people with mutual BDSM interests (see BDSM area). We also take into account whether a quicker or slower start to sexuality in a relationship is desired (see Sexuality and Partnership).
Our basic principle is that we assess acceptance and compatibility for a wide variety of such characteristics and, when deriving matchmaking suggestions, ensure that acceptance is present. Members of CONSONANCE (GLEICHKLANG) come predominantly from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
With its psychologically based dating system, CONSONANCE (GLEICHKLANG) also supports people with particular life attitudes, lifestyles, and life situations in their partner search. This includes, for example, vegetarians and vegans (see Vegetarianism and Veganism), people with spiritual interests (see Spirituality and Rationality), members who place great value on living in an ecologically responsible way (see Environmental Awareness), and members who especially want to work for animal protection and animal rights (see Animal Protection and Animal Rights).
We also provide targeted support for single parents in their partner search (see Single mothers and fathers).
In addition, CONSONANCE (GLEICHKLANG) takes religious views into account in its matchmaking, but instead of recording religious affiliation or formal beliefs, we ask all members for their evaluation of different religions. Specifically, we ask about their view of the Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Islamic, Shinto, and Hindu religions, as well as of Esotericism and open Spirituality. We also ask about their view of atheist and agnostic systems of thought. These religious views are only taken into account in matchmaking when a member has indicated that agreement on religious views is important to them (see also Partner Search and Religion).
Another area of our matchmaking consists in taking special physical and psychological characteristics into account, which can significantly complicate partner search on the internet. Accordingly, we offer a matchmaking option for people with physical and psychological illnesses or disabilities (see Handicap Love, Partner Search with Emotional Suffering, Partner Search with HIV, and Partner Search with Physical Illnesses). We also support people with higher body weight in their partner search (see Curvy, Plus-Size, and Rubens Figures). In CONSONANCE (GLEICHKLANG), particularly short (short-statured) and particularly tall members also receive targeted support in their partner search (see Tall & Short). We furthermore offer a special matchmaking option for people who, as intersex individuals, belong to the so-called third gender (hermaphrodites, intersex persons, see Intersex and Third Gender).
Additionally, through a comprehensive dating system, CONSONANCE (GLEICHKLANG) supports those who devote a large amount of time to very central hobbies and interests, such as intensive engagement with computers or with motorsports and football, ensuring that incompatibilities are avoided right from the start (see Central Hobbies and Leisure Interests).
Our matchmaking also focuses intensively on supporting seniors in their partner and friendship search, giving women and men in later life excellent chances at CONSONANCE (GLEICHKLANG) to find the right person once again (see 50plus, 60plus, and Seniors).
Love has many different colors. Most members of CONSONANCE (GLEICHKLANG) seek a stable, committed, two-person relationship with sexual fidelity and shared living. Many members also have a wish for children, want to marry, or aim for a registered civil partnership. But there are also members who want weekend relationships or long-distance relationships. Other members of our partner search site wish for an open relationship arrangement, possibly with sexual contacts with third parties.
