Consonance (Gleichklang) Community
The Consonance (Gleichklang) community is a member community and meeting community of currently over 20,000 members who are seeking partnership, friendship, or travel companions and who care deeply about ecology, compassion, solidarity, and humanity.
Members of Consonance, Consonance couples, and friendship couples and groups that formed through Consonance are committed to a better world in which sustainability, community, and justice prevail:
- for refugees and against right-wing populism and racism
- for environmental protection and against climate denial and environmental destruction
- for the protection of animals as sentient beings and against animal exploitation
Through the Consonance community, appreciative and loving relationships develop between people who want to bring more humanity, kindness, and solidarity into the world together.
Financing and Membership
The financing and further development of the Consonance community is funded by an annual membership fee paid by all members. This amounts to 98 EUR per year, with those who find this difficult able to take advantage of the reduced fee of 73 EUR per year.
This fee will be further reduced to enable everyone to participate at Consonance. In cases of financial hardship, upon simple request (sozialtarif@gleichklang.de), a social rate of only 6 EUR per year (reducible to a symbolic EUR) is granted.
Through this fee structure, we ensure that everyone, regardless of their financial situation, can become a member of Consonance, thus upholding the core principle of the Consonance community “for a better and more just world.”
