The Alternative Dating Community at Consonance (Gleichklang)
The Consonance community is an alternative dating community and member community of currently over 20,000 members who are looking for partnership, friendship, or travel companions and who care about ecology, compassion, solidarity, and humanity.
Members of Consonance, Consonance couples, and friendship pairs and groups that have formed through Consonance are committed to a better world in which sustainability, community, and justice prevail:
- for refugees and against right-wing populism and racism
- for environmental protection and against climate denial and environmental destruction
- for the protection of animals as sentient beings and against animal exploitation
Through the Consonance community, appreciative and loving relationships develop between people who want to bring more humanity, kindness, and solidarity into the world together.
Financing and Membership
The financing and further development of the Consonance community is carried out via an annual membership fee that all members pay. This amounts to 98 EUR per year, whereby people who find this difficult can take advantage of the reduced fee of 73 EUR per year.
This fee will be further reduced to enable everyone to participate at Consonance. In cases of social hardship, therefore, upon an uncomplicated request (sozialtarif@gleichklang.de), a social discount of only 6 EUR per year is granted (reduction to a symbolic EUR possible).
Through this fee structure, we ensure that everyone, regardless of their financial means, can become a member of Consonance, and thus the basic principle of the Consonance community “for a better and more just world” can be guaranteed.
