Our Matchmaking Success Rates and How You Can Succeed
We surveyed 29,984 members and former members of Consonance (Gleichklang) about the success of their online dating or friendship search.
The results are very positive:
36% of those members who did not give up for at least one year achieved success with their online dating or friendship search at Consonance. When extending the time interval, the chances of success grow further and already exceed 70% after two years.
Matchmaking success can only be achieved by those who are willing to engage in the matchmaking process, for which one year of participation is the minimum. Therefore, those members who gave up very quickly and without success were not included in the evaluation, for example, those who revoked their participation within 14 days or had their profile removed after just a few weeks or months.
Partnership and friendship are not easy to find. However, with a membership at Consonance at an annual fee of only 84 EUR, there are excellent prospects for bringing your online dating and friendship search to success.
The results also show that members can do something themselves to achieve matchmaking success. Members who do not just wait but take the initiative to contact suggested people achieve the best matchmaking rates. Quick responses, posting an appealing free text, providing one or more photos, and willingness to meet in the real world as soon as possible also improve the chances of success.
There are many other interesting individual results:
Single fathers achieve the highest matchmaking rate, but single mothers also achieve success with us just as often as non-single mothers. Matchmaking prospects are increased for vegetarians. Vegans — although a small number in the general population — have the same chances of success with us as all other members.
Incidentally, our evaluations also show, to our delight, that people with disabilities or illnesses achieve equally good matchmaking prospects at Consonance as all other members. This is due to our acceptance principle, which we already use as an important matching criterion when deriving suggestions.
